If you are lifting your Samurai more than the driveline will allow, the crossmember needs to be notched or cut out- however, when the frame is notched, it loses it's frame stiffening strength and creates a void for what was there from the factory. Low Range Off Road has fixed this by making a 3/8 thick ASTM A36 steel Laser Cut and CNC Press bent piece that can be welded in place once the crossmember is cut for driveline clearance. This plate is made to slip right into the original crossmember void - and is cut so that you can still get to your transfer case mount nut.
